Diagnostic Services

If your system isn't performing to your liking, and you just don't know why, let Black Light Computers perform a software and hardware diagnostic test to give you an accurate idea of where your system needs improvement, or what could be behind the problems you're experiencing. Every system is treated as if it were my own, and with that in mind it's subject to a standardized round of tests, including the following:

  • CPU and Memory Stress Test - This test will indicate if there's a problem with the main processing components of your system
  • Hard Drive Stress Test - This test will indicate if there are problems with your hard drives reading or writing abilities
  • Computer case and hardware contact cleaning - This ensures that the dust buildup in your system is not preventing contact issues with hardware to the motherboard, as well as help reduce hot spots on hardware
  • Adware/Spyware/Virus Scan - This test will check your system for the adware, spyware and virus like files on your system that may have slipped in under your nose from the internet or elsewhere, ensuring that Windows can perform to the best of it's ability
  • Files optimization - This step will eliminate pesky temporary files from your computer that eats up hard drive space as well as performing a defrag on the hard drive to get all your files in the best accessibility order

Software and Hardware Services

  • Operating System Reinstallation with Data Backup - $100.00 + taxes
  • Hard Drive Data Transfer (Hard Drive Replacement or Upgrade) - $40.00 + taxes
  • Software Troublshooting (if not covered in Diagnostics Services) - $30.00 + taxes
  • Hardware Installation (General Replacement or New Addition) - $10.00 per item + taxes

Blacklight Computers is not just about building systems for you, I can also provide you the parts and the knowhow to upgrade or build your own system! If parts are all your looking for, you've still come to the right place.

With the help of the many suppliers in the industry, I can help your find the part your looking for, with the best price in mind. At this time however all parts will need to be ordered and brought in as I don't have the space to store all the most wanted parts around. This will change in the future, but for now if there is a part you need, I'll get it for you in a timely fashion with no Speacial Order Cost associated, as some stores may do.
